Explosions were heard today, on February 26, in the Belarusian military airfield “Machulishchi”, located 12 km from Minsk.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of BYPOL (an initiative created by former Belarusian law enforcement officers who do not support the regime of dictator Alexander Lukashenko).
At first, BYPOL reported that two explosions damaged a Russian military transport aircraft and snowplows.
Subsequently, a clarification appeared that this was a Russian A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft. Rashists launch such aircraft in the airspace of Belarus for reconnaissance of targets before large-scale missile strikes on Ukraine.
Additionally, it became known that this morning a Russian military aircraft AWACS A-50 was blown up at the Machulishchi military airfield, BYPOL said in a statement. – As a result of 2 explosions (the places are indicated in the photo), the front and central parts of the aircraft were damaged, the avionics and the radar antenna were damaged. The damage is serious, the plane certainly will not fly anywhere.
It is noted that the explosion occurred when snowplows were working near this aircraft.
Belarusian partisans are consistent in expelling the fascists from their land, BYPOL notes.
