It was also noted that the enemy focused its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in eastern Ukraine in order to establish full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and the land corridor between these territories and the occupied and Crimea. The main efforts of the aviation group are focused on supporting the actions of units in the direction of Slobozhansky and Donetsk.
In the direction of Seversk, the Russians strictly guarded a section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Over the past 24 hours, the villages of Bolshaya Pisarevka, Belopolye, Krasnopolye and Yunakovka of the Sumy region have been shelled using multiple rocket launch systems.
Under Slobozhansky’s direction, the Russian army continued to focus its efforts on defending the occupied lines and conducting aerial reconnaissance. Intelligence shows that in the direction of Izyum the enemy is re -placing ammunition, fuel and logistics.
Battles continue for Voevodovka, Toshkovka and Nizhne in the Severodonetsky district of the Lugansk region, as well as in Kamenka in the Yaasinovatsky district of the Donetsk region. In Mariupol, the enemy continues to destroy the infrastructure of the Azovstal plant with artillery and air strikes. The battle continues.
The previous day, on the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled fifteen enemy attacks, destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system, nine tanks, three artillery systems, 25 units of armored combat vehicles, three units of special engineering equipment and three vehicles.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense asked Ukrainians not to report on the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the official announcement, as they may not come true.
