Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko plans to visit China and meet with Xi Jinping.
The self-proclaimed president plans to visit China from February 28 to March 2 and meet with Xi Jinping, likely to sign agreements on trade, investment, large-scale joint projects and other issues. The PRC can use this meeting to hide the facts of violations of sanctions during the supply of weapons to the aggressor country of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) for February 26.
The dictator’s announcement of a visit to Beijing is said to coincide with reports by US officials that China is seriously considering selling military drones, personal weapons, and 122mm and 152mm artillery shells to Russia.
Experts say that there is a plan to supply Chinese drones to Russia on falsified shipping documents in order to avoid international sanctions.
China may try to use the agreements with Belarus to hide the facts of sanctions violations, the report says.
Recall, the media reported that Moscow is negotiating with the Chinese drone manufacturer Xi’an Bingo Intelligent Aviation Technology for the mass production of kamikaze drones. The company has agreed to manufacture and test 100 prototype ZT-180 drones before delivering them to Moscow by April 2023.
