The government is working to remove unnecessary bureaucracy and possible abuses from the process of passing military medical commissions.
The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing the automation and digitalization of processes related to the passing of military medical commissions. So, on Saturday, February 25, a meeting was held to optimize the processes of military medical expertise, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.
“References must “follow” the military, and not the other way around. We are working to remove unnecessary bureaucracy and possible abuses from the process of passing military medical commissions … The military must receive smooth and fast service with the appropriate level of service and respect,” – wrote Shmygal.
He noted that during the meeting, the expert group, including the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ministry of Veterans Affairs, showed their best practice to solve problems in this area.
“The main goal is the automation and digitalization of all processes,” the message said.
Separately, the meeting participants paid attention to obtaining a certificate of the circumstances of the injury from the military unit. The head of government instructed the responsible ministries to develop changes that will make this service digital. The prime minister also ordered to explore the possibility of creating a so-called “military ASC” based on each recruitment center.
