The Russian military on Saturday, February 25, opened fire in Avdiivka in the Donetsk region and destroyed the school. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration Pavel Kirilenko on Telegram.
“In less than a full day today, the Russians shelled the city twice with artillery, once with tanks, launched an air missile strike, as well as strikes on Grads,” he wrote.
According to Kirilenko, shells and rockets flew over residential areas and the industrial zone. At least one person was injured as a result of the lawsuit.
“The Russians destroyed School No. 2 with a missile attack, which we opened only in 2021 after a complete reconstruction. The Lithuanian government helped us a lot in its repair – it allocated more than 700,000 euros for the latest equipment for the school,” said the head of OVA.
Recall that on Saturday the Russians also launched a missile attack on the residential area of Kramatorsk. As a result of the attack, more than 20 private houses were damaged, an outpatient clinic was destroyed, and one person was injured.
