Employees booked by Ukrainian enterprises with the status of persons liable for military service will not be able to go on business trips abroad.
This explanation was made by Prime Minister Shmihal.
We did not prescribe or provide for this in the decision,” Shmihal said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
On January 27, the Cabinet of Ministers approved new rules for booking workers from mobilization. Now this can be done not only by state strategic enterprises or suppliers of the Ministry of Defense.
On the one hand, the government has more clearly written out the procedure and criteria for obtaining a reservation, on the other hand, mainly large enterprises will still be able to use this opportunity.
On January 24, the Ministry of Economy, which is responsible for the booking procedure in the government, held a large meeting with representatives of the largest business associations.
The first key change is that now not only government agencies and enterprises producing goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine or performing “mobilization tasks” (that is, working in one way or another in support of the defense sector) can apply for employee reservations, but also companies that have received the status of “critical important to the economy.”
This status can be granted by the relevant ministries or regional state administrations (previously the ministries took care of bookings). It must be confirmed once a year. To do this, you must meet three of the seven criteria specified in the resolution of the Cabinet.
