The EU countries yesterday, February 24, late in the evening nevertheless agreed on the tenth package of sanctions against Russia.
Thus, the decision on a new package of sanctions fell on the anniversary of the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. This was reported on the Twitter page of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The new package includes, in particular, the following sanctions:
- tighter restrictions on the export of dual-use products and technologies;
- targeted restrictive measures against individuals and entities supporting the war, spreading propaganda or supplying drones used by Russia in the war;
- measures against Russian disinformation.
