In Ukraine, there has been no shortage of capacity in the energy system for two weeks in a row and is not predicted yet.
This was announced today, February 25, by the press service of Ukrenergo.
It is noted that consumption today is somewhat reduced within the typical weekend winter. There were no consumption limits in the region.
At the same time, due to damage to the networks of distribution system operators caused by enemy shelling, the power was cut off in the front-line cities of Nikopol and Marganets in the Dnepropetrovsk region – where security permits, repairs are being carried out.
In addition, network restrictions continue to apply in Odessa, caused by significant damage to the energy infrastructure. Hourly shutdown schedules are applied to avoid overloading remaining equipment.
Shutdowns are also possible due to damage to networks due to worsening weather conditions, Ukrenergo notes.
