Russian troops are preparing for a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine on February 23-24. But it will be small. Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
“Let’s do it this way: nothing unusual will happen. Usual attempts… A small missile attack is planned… 23-24 – they have two dates. Believe me, we have experienced this more in 20 times already,” said the head of GUR.
At the same time, Budanov noted that the tactics of the Russians regarding the combination of shelling with rockets, drones and balloons are quite old.
“It’s a pretty old method. And what new can they come up with?” he emphasized.
Earlier, Budanov said that Russia does not want to drag out the war in Ukraine for many years, on the contrary, it is trying to achieve at least some success and end it as soon as possible. The GUR leader also said when the decisive battles of the war would take place.
