Ukraine should prepare for strikes by Russian invaders among other important things, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians failed to plunge Ukraine into cold and darkness by shelling out energy infrastructure over the winter, so now the enemy may change tactics and begin shelling out other critical facilities. About this on Wednesday, February 22, in an interview with NV, Yuri Ignat, representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Regarding the massive shelling of the energy infrastructure, it is clear that the Ukrainian energy sector has adapted to such a confrontation with the enemy, quickly mobilizing brigades and repairing the damage. Daylight hours are getting longer, and energy consumption is lower. The enemy sees that the goals are not achieved, therefore, there will be a decrease in attacks on energy infrastructure facilities,” he said.
At the same time, he suggested that in the spring and summer the enemy could focus on shelling transport infrastructure or hydraulic structures.
Ignat emphasized that now the Air Force must be strengthened, and also expect the return of the military from training as soon as possible and the arrival of new air and missile defense systems, in particular the SAMP / T and Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
It will be recalled that the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that Italy, in addition to the SAMP-T air defense system, will provide two more systems in addition to the SAMP-T air defense system: Italy, as part of a new package of military aid to Ukraine, two more complexes: Skyguard and Spike.
Britain has also reportedly promised ammunition and air defense systems to Ukraine.
