The Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to break into the Kupyansky district of the Kharkov region.
A hostile unit came from the territory of the Russian Federation. The enemy VRG was found in the Bologovka area. However, the fire influence of the units of the Defense Forces of the enemy retreated to the territory of the aggressor country. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for February 22.
It is noted that the enemy DRG tried to penetrate in the Figolovka area. And in the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the Russian occupying army carried out several unsuccessful offensive operations.
The General Staff added that the enemy has concentrated its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions, here the Russians are increasing the number of personnel.
Aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted 10 strikes per day on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. And the units of missile troops and artillery hit two areas of concentration of enemy manpower in a day.
Recall, on February 11, in the Kherson region, Ukrainian units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two boats that the invaders were preparing to maneuver sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Dnieper delta.
