In Ukraine today, February 22, consumption is at the level of a normal working day. There is no shortage of power in the energy system and it is not yet predicted, so consumption limits have not yet been reached in the region.

At the same time, 137 settlements in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions remain without electricity due to heavy winds, which led to damage to power grids. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

In addition, grid restrictions remain in Odesa and the Odesa region due to damage to equipment at Ukrenergo substations from previous Russian missile and drone attacks.

Brigades of Ukrenergo continue repair work to eliminate network restrictions for Odessa and the Odessa region. Due to the complexity and scale of the damage, restoring a reliable power supply takes a long time, the company notes.
