In the Kherson region, the occupiers forced to take Russian passports

The occupiers tightened control at checkpoints and threatened to evict residents without Russian documents.

The occupiers continue to force the passport of the population in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. This was announced on February 22 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Occupying Russian troops, together with the police, have carried out checks at checkpoints and threatened deportation since the beginning of March to all citizens who do not accept a Russian passport,” the report said.

In addition, Russian troops regularly capture the Kherson region.

Over the past day, Kherson has suffered MLRS fire, with civilian casualties in the city.

Also, 18 settlements fell under the blow of enemy artillery, including Mikhailovka, Dudchany, Milovo, Tomarino, Dorozhnoye, Berislav, Nikolaevka, Cossack, Veseloe, Antonovka and Veletensky.

It was previously reported that employees of budgetary organizations of the occupied Gorlovka in the Donetsk region will be obliged to obtain Russian citizenship on July 1.
