Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the anti-Kremlin coalition already consists of 54 countries. The head of the defense department stated this in an interview with the FreeDom TV channel.
In fact, the anti-Kremlin coalition already consists of 54 countries. There were so many delegations during the meeting, first on the sidelines of Ramstein, and since it took place in Brussels, in addition to the Ramstein meeting, there was also a meeting of NATO defense ministers – a big meeting where Ukraine was invited as a guest in a place of honor. And we continued our work. If someone thinks that there is a fatigue syndrome from Ukraine, from the war, then this is not so. Our partners are very, very, I emphasize, very resolute. We are set for our victory,” Reznikov pointed out.
According to him, we are talking about completely different moods than a year ago, when Ukraine was given three days to fall the capital, and “three weeks maximum for the whole country to fall.”
Today, everyone believes in the victory of Ukraine, everyone wants this victory. Now everyone understands, they see very clearly that this Russian so-called “second army of the world” is very realistic to contain and defeat. And we proved it to the whole world, so the whole world is inspired by the heroism of our defenders and defenders, civilians, all Ukrainians. And they want to be co-authors of our victory with you, – assured the head of the Ministry of Defense.
Reznikov stressed that no political issues were discussed within the framework of Ramstein, including negotiations with Russia.
We are discussing assistance to Ukraine with weapons, launching a military-industrial complex so that they produce shells, weapons, replenish their warehouses in order to improve our capabilities, and everyone understands that we need to go on a counteroffensive, the minister summed up.
He added that “Russia’s goal is the destruction of Ukraine, the restoration of the Soviet Russian empire, the absorption of Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and the restoration of the Berlin Wall.”
