The United States of America advises Ukraine to prepare for a counteroffensive in the war against Russia.
U.S. officials believe that Ukraine’s defense is about to reach a critical phase when the occupiers begin their offensive. And the White House is pressuring the administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to consolidate its gains and perhaps launch a counterattack of its own. This is reported by Politico.
The Biden administration insists that the Ukrainian Defense Forces prepare for the offensive now, because aid from the United States and Europe is flowing freely. However, there are fears that support from Ukraine’s European neighbors may be limited.
Politico also writes that US President Joe Biden will travel to Poland on February 19 to meet with President Andrzej Duda and NATO leaders.
During his visit to Poland, the American leader should note the need for the West and the United States to head for Ukraine.
Recall, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, during the last meeting in the Ramstein format, said that Western countries would help the Armed Forces of Ukraine go on a counteroffensive in the spring of 2023.
