On the territory of Belarus, the enemy now does not have enough forces for repeated ground attacks in the northern regions of Ukraine. This is what the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, said.
“We assess the level of military threat, taking into account the forces that are now on the territory of Belarus. These forces are not enough for a ground offensive at the present time, but what may happen in the future depends on the intentions of the enemy,” said Naev.
According to him, the Ukrainian military has significantly strengthened the northern border.
“We have created a system of engineering barriers, especially mine explosives, which have increased their density along the state border tenfold. We have developed a system of defensive lines and positions,” the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.
Earlier, GUR said that Belarusians are trying to refrain from participating in the war against Ukraine.
