Soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed six Russian UAVs that were trying to collect information about the location of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern and eastern directions.
Five downed drones turned out to be “lancets”, and one was of the Zala type. During the day, the Ukrainian aviation of the defense forces delivered five strikes on enemy concentration areas, as well as one on the position of the anti-aircraft missile system. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for February 18.
And units of the missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit three areas of concentration of enemy manpower and the position of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in a firing position.
The General Staff noted that the enemy is mainly trying to conduct an offensive in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions. Attacks of the enemy on February 17 were repulsed by the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Gryanikovka and Sinkovka of the Kharkov region, Stelmahovka, Krasnopopovka and Kremennaya – Lugansk and Vyemka, Fedorovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Razdolevka, Paraskovievka, Berkhovka, Bakhmut, Ivan, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
Recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian invaders would suffer losses in the Kherson region – in Kalanchak, the enemy had to equip the Central District Hospital into a military hospital. Wounded invaders are regularly brought here.
