Ilya Samoylenko, official of the intelligence department of the Azov Regiment, believes that the defenders of the intercepted Mariupol have four options, but the only acceptable is the fight.
“Regarding the opportunities we have here, I will tell you the same thing I say to my comrades, soldiers … in a critical situation like today, we have four options … First, you can , of course, you just put down your weapons and sit in the corner and wait for the end, be it a slow starvation death or a quick death from a bomb, you just accept it.The second option is to try run away somehow, like a coward, think. just about your own life, do not think about your duty … ” – said Samoylenko at a briefing with blocked Azovstal.
According to him, the situation is such that the defenders of Mariupol are more than 100 kilometers from the main positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is impossible to break.
“Third, you can lay down your arms and just give up. And the fourth option is the only way that can guarantee your life and you will not be ashamed of what you did – stand up and fight,” Samoylenko stressed.
