It was noted that the Campo Square tanker sailed under the Liberian flag and was owned by the Zodiac company, which is owned by members of the Ofer family from Israel.
According to the BBC, the tanker was attacked in the Arabian Sea on February 10, and Iranian ships were involved in the attack.
Campo Square was damaged during the attack and headed to the nearest port for inspection and repairs.
According to the media of Saudi Arabia, during the attack on the tanker, the ships next to it were also damaged, one of which belonged to the United Arab Emirates. The Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone was allegedly used for the attack.
This is the third Zodiac ship to be attacked in the past two years.
