Ambassador Anika Jamic was one of the few ambassadors who stayed in Kyiv in the first days after February 24, she moved to Lviv and returned in conjunction with the visit of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Croatia to Kyiv.
The Croatian Embassy in Ukraine continues work in Kyiv, the ambassador has already returned to the capital, said Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic during a visit to Kyiv.
“From now on, our ambassador, who has been in Lviv for a few weeks, will return to Kyiv. It is also a strong sign of support for Ukraine and Ukrainians,” Plenkovich said.
Ambassador Anika Dzhamich was one of the few ambassadors who remained in Kyiv in the first days after February 24. Subsequently, she moved to Lvov and returned in conjunction with the visit of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Croatia to Kyiv.
“We appreciate the resistance you’re showing to Russia, because you’re defending overall values,” Andrey Plenkovich said.
The Prime Minister of Croatia recalled the support already given and noted that the country will continue to support the new EU sanctions against Russia and is ready to share its experience in demeaning the territory.
He added that Croatia supports Ukraine’s European perspective. “We are pleased that you answered the questionnaire with political questions, and we will help you in the next steps,” the prime minister said.
Recall that the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine is back in Kyiv.
