At midnight on February 16, Russian troops struck Kharkov, initially, using S-300 missiles from the territory of the Belgorod region. This was announced by the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
“The arrivals were recorded in the Osnovyansky and Kievsky districts of the city. There were no casualties. The shops of one of the enterprises were damaged from the blast wave,” he wrote in Telegram.
As specified in the prosecutor’s office, enemy shells hit infrastructure facilities of Kharkov’s Osnovyansky district. Business production facilities and vehicles, as well as the railroad, were damaged.
A part of a downed enemy missile was found in the Kiev region.
A pre-trial investigation is launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It will be remembered that on February 16, as a result of shelling of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, five people were killed.
The enemy also launched two missile strikes on Volchansk in the Kharkiv region, killing one man.
