Further work of the diplomatic mission will strengthen relations between Ukraine and Israel, Eli Cohen assured.

The Israeli Embassy in Ukraine resumed work in Kyiv, which was suspended during a full-scale war. This was announced by Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen Twitter on Thursday 16 February.

“The Israeli flag flies again over the embassy in Ukraine. Today, for the first time since the beginning of the war, I fully and uninterruptedly reopened the Israeli embassy in Kyiv together with Ambassador Mikhail Brodsky,” wrote said Cohen.

He assured that Ukraine is a friend of Israel, and the further work of the diplomatic mission will strengthen relations between the countries.

On Thursday, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said Ukraine expects Israel to make decisions on military aid. First of all, we are talking about airspace protection.

In turn, Cohen said that Israel will help Ukraine “in developing an intelligent early warning system.”
