Ukraine in recent days has requested from Italy means of protection against nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. Rome will transfer this aid to Kyiv in a new package, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said.
“Ukraine has recently turned to Italy with a request for means of protection against nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. Italy will provide it with help such as generators, blankets. Even if it is cheaper than tanks, it also requires attention,” – he said.
Crosetto said that Italy has already approved these materials for the sixth aid package to Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the Netherlands will transfer to Ukraine 20,000 rounds of ammunition for the German-made Leopard 2 tanks. And Sweden is moving Archer self-propelled artillery mounts soon.
