In the sky of Ukraine, enemy balloons with reflectors were fixed, which move in the direction of the wind and conduct radar reconnaissance. This is reported by the Air Force Command.
In particular, the alarm in the Kyiv region is connected with balloons launched by Russia.
The old-fashioned methods that the enemy uses are balloons. This is not a probe, not a balloon. It’s just a balloon that carries a piece of metal, – said Yuri Ignat, speaker of the Air Force.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said that the situation in the Kyiv region is under control.
The air force and intelligence are monitoring the situation. Regarding unknown objects, information is known, they are under control. Indeed, there is information about hostile intentions, including the collection of intelligence to lure Ukrainian air defense systems, and there is a response and a response system to such threats, Yusov said.
Air targets were found in the sky of the Kyiv region. In this regard, the air defense is working, – the message of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration says.
Recall that in the Kyiv region at 13:28 announced an air alert. No sirens sounded in the rest of the country.
