Moldova temporarily closed its airspace for security reasons.
The corresponding decision was made on Tuesday, February 14. The airspace will be closed until at least 16.00. According to unconfirmed information, a drone allegedly entered the country. This is reported by the Realitatea resource.
The state-owned airline Air Moldova did not provide details on the reasons for the closure of the airspace, as well as for how long the restrictions were applied.

The information has not yet been officially confirmed by the aviation authorities of Moldova. The Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) has not yet released a statement.
Earlier, a number of Telegram channels that track the movement of Russian aviation reported that a reconnaissance drone from Belarus flew into the territory of Ukraine, flew through the Zhytomyr and Vinnitsa regions and entered the airspace of Moldova.
