The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Denmark had already handed over the promised 19 Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and released footage of their journey to Ukraine.
Copenhagen decided to give the APU all 19 “Caesars” that it ordered for itself from a French manufacturer. The defense department on Twitter released footage of howitzers being transported and thanked Denmark.
Recall that the French Minister of Defense at the end of January said that Ukraine has 18 Caesars, of which one howitzer needs serious repairs. Consequently, together with the 19 “Caesars” from Denmark, their number grows to 37.
Paris also plans to transfer 12 more Caesars in the future.
