American businessman and owner of SpaceX Elon Musk said that the use of Starlink satellites to escalate the “conflict in Ukraine” is unacceptable.

The politician urged Musk to restore the full functionality of the Starlink satellites. Kelly says that defending against a genocidal invasion is not an offensive capability.

In response, Musk said Kelly’s statement was “propaganda nonsense.” According to him, Starlink is Ukraine’s communications backbone, especially on the front lines, where almost all other internet capabilities have been destroyed.
“But we will not allow an escalation of conflict that could lead to a third world war,” Musk said.
It was previously reported that SpaceX limited the use of Starlink for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, especially for controlling drones.
The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, said that a few months ago, changes were recorded from SpaceX in the functionality of geofencing, but now everything is working. There are no problems with the operation of Starlink terminals in Ukraine today.
