A team of firefighters from the Community of Madrid relocated to Turkey this Sunday rescued a 50-year-old woman trapped under rubble six days after a devastating earthquake that killed more than 33,000 people in Turkey and Syria.
Sources in the team said the woman, who was rescued this afternoon, is in a stable condition and is currently being treated in the toilet.
Rescue efforts have been extremely difficult, although Madrid firefighters say they finally managed to get the woman alive after being trapped under rubble for six days.

The death toll from the earthquake that devastated much of the southeast last Monday Turkey and north of Syria It already exceeds 33,000 people, with nearly 30,000 deaths recorded in Turkey alone.
