In the Kherson region, a car with civilians exploded on a mine left by Russian invaders.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
The tragedy occurred today, February 12, in the morning near the village of Novoraysk, Berislavsky district.
Two men, 45 and 48 years old, were driving a car along a field road, on which many Russian mines remained, the Regional State Administration notes. “A car full of civilians bumped into one of them. Both men died on the spot from their injuries.
The regional state administration notes that the mine danger in the Kherson region remains very high, so local residents are urged to:
- move only along routes that have already been surveyed by explosives experts;
- do not visit forest belts, plantings and fields, as enemy explosives may remain there;
- upon detection of an explosive object – in no case do not touch it, move to a safe distance and report the find to law enforcement officers or rescuers.
