Russia is using Kurdish mercenaries to organize drone attacks on Ukraine, – intelligence
On February 10, during another massive attack on Ukraine, the GUR intercepted the conversation of Iranian drone operators, specifying the coordinates of the target.
At the same time, the interlocutors communicate in a dialect of the Kurdish language interspersed with words in farce. This interception may indicate that Kurdish mercenaries with experience in combat use of the Shahed are also fighting on the side of the Rashists, the GUR said.
It is specified that during their operations in Syria, the Russians have already attracted armed groups consisting of Kurdish and Afghan mercenaries.
On November 24, 2022, NSDC Secretary Aleksey Danilov confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Iranian instructors who arrived in the temporarily occupied Crimea to help the Russians with the operation of kamikaze drones.
