An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred last night in western Georgia. On Saturday, February 11, the First Channel of Georgia reports in connection with the National Center for Seismic Monitoring.

It is known that the tremors were recorded at 19.33 local time. The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 4.96 km. The epicenter of the tremors was located seven kilometers east of the city of Ozurgeti (the center of the Guria region), near the village of Vakijvari.

There have been no reports of any injuries or casualties.

Note that the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria exceeded 25 thousand people.
