From the beginning of the war, meetings were held at the US airbase in Germany, where the allies discussed the war in Ukraine and announced new arms deliveries.
A Ramstein-style meeting at a US military base in Germany is planned to be held on the eve of the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the same meeting “there will be many interesting things.” This was announced on Saturday, February 11, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of the telethon.
Danilov explained that it was traditionally about the supply of weapons to Ukraine. At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council did not specify what types of weapons the partners will discuss. However, he said that it “will be a breakthrough in relations with Western partners.”
“I want to say that next week there will be a new Ramstein. We will see a lot of interesting things there,” the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council announced the event.
It is known in advance that the meeting in the Ramstein format will be held on February 20.
It was previously reported that the participants of the ninth meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine will focus on a specific discussion of the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the eve of the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made a statement on the tanks and aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
