The Security Service has collected an exhaustive evidence base on the pro-Kremlin propagandist Tatyana Montyan, who publicly justifies the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.
This person, being on the territory of the aggressor country, actively participates in information and psychological special operations of the Russian special services.
The SBU found that for this Montyan regularly speaks on Russian TV channels, where he actively calls for changing the borders of the state border of Ukraine and supporting the occupation groups.
She also massively spreads disinformation about the situation in Ukraine through her own social media channel, which has almost half a million subscribers.
According to the investigation, the attacker left for Russia in 2021. Since that time, she has been constantly visiting the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to prepare propaganda stories in favor of the Kremlin regime.
Based on the collected evidence, investigators from the Security Service informed her of suspicion under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 3 Art. 109 (actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or at seizing state power);
- part 1 and part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- Part 1 Art. 111-1 (collaboration activity);
- Part 3 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Recall that on the eve of the large-scale invasion of Muscovites into Ukraine, Russia invited Montyan to speak at the UN with accusations of Ukraine.
