The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that the air defense systems of the Russian army “repulsed another attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
According to him, a drone was shot down over the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage, Bogomaz noted.
Mash claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Bryansk International Airport for the second time in the past two days. According to the telegram channel, at about 9:30 local time, a group of drones with explosives flew towards the airport. Drones flew at low altitude.
On February 9, Muscovite Bogomaz also reported that air defense systems shot down one drone over the Bryansk region. He did not specify what was the purpose of the attack.
Bryansk Airport, like many other airports in central and southern Russia, has been closed since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
