Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny confirmed the information that a Russian missile fired at Ukraine by war criminals of the Russian Federation flew over Moldova and Romania on February 10.
Today, February 10, at 10:18 am, two Russian cruise missiles “Caliber” crossed the State border of Ukraine with the Republic of Moldova. At approximately 10:33 these missiles crossed Romanian airspace. After that, they again entered the airspace of Ukraine at the point of intersection of the borders of three states, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.
Zaluzhny also said that the missiles were launched from the Black Sea.
The speaker of the Air Force, Ignat, in a commentary to the UP, emphasized that the Air Force could shoot down these enemy missiles, but they understood the risks and threats to the population of a foreign state, so they did not do it right away.
Romania has been a NATO member since 2004.
