The Ministry of Economy published the actual sale price of natural gas in Ukraine.
In January 2023, the cost of gas was UAH 23,723.43 per 1,000 cubic meters without VAT, which is 9.4% lower than a month earlier. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Thus, the average gas price fell to a minimum since the beginning of calculating the indicator in March last year.
Note that the average price of gas is calculated according to the formula for the purposes of the Tax Code of Ukraine on the collection of rent for the use of subsoil.
Remember that gas prices in Europe fell below $600.
It was previously reported that Ukraine is ready to buy about 2 billion cubic meters of gas through the EU energy platform for next winter as part of the joint purchase of this raw material.
