The occupying army of Russia can start its offensive in the south-east of Ukraine, since it has the opportunity to replenish its reserves there. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikova during a briefing.
As for the southeastern part, there is a threat (of a Russian offensive – ed.), because there their group has the opportunity to replenish with weapons, equipment, and people. Because, of course, the situation there is more tense. This means from Zaporozhye to the Donetsk region, – Reznikov emphasized.
At the same time, according to the minister, there is no threat to Odessa, since the enemy lost its advantage in the Black Sea after the destruction of the Moskva cruiser and the presence of anti-ship missiles in Ukraine. In addition, in order to advance by land, he will have to capture the recently de-occupied Kherson and Nikolaev, which the Russian invaders were never able to take.
We do not rule out a full-scale offensive by the Russians, given their love of symbolism. Soon February 24, the anniversary of the war, – said the head of the defense department.
Recall that earlier the head of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Colonel Yevgeny Yerin, said that the Russians were trying to intensify hostilities in the Zaporozhye direction.
