Ukrainian rescuers work in Turkey in six-hour shifts. So far, no life has been found, but there is hope.
Ukrainian rescuers while working in the rubble after the earthquake in Turkey have not yet found any living people. The Spokesman of the State Emergency Service Oleksandr Khorunzhiy said this on the air of the One News telethon, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The main task is search and rescue operations, to find living people. Only the Coordination Center will decide our further actions. The work is being done around the clock,” he said.
With the chances of finding life under the rubble 72 hours after the earthquake, Khorunzhiy said that Ukrainian rescuers are working until the end.
“There is always hope. And we keep working,” the spokesperson said.
According to him, our rescuers in a particular sector work in six-hour shifts. They have all the equipment.
A second group of Ukrainian rescuers is on its way to reinforce those already in Turkey.
It will be remembered that on February 6, two strong earthquakes occurred in Turkey, which also affected Syria. According to the latest data, the number of victims exceeded 16 thousand people.
