In the city of Bydgoszcz in Poland, as a result of a fight motivated by jealousy, two Ukrainian men were killed, and two more women were injured. On Wednesday, February 8, PAP reported.
The press secretary of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship police, Monika Khlebich, noted that all participants in the tragic conflict were citizens of Ukraine.
It was reported that on Tuesday night the police received a message about a domestic fight in one of the apartments in the city center. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers found an unconscious 25-year-old woman with multiple injuries on the stairs. And in the house there were two dead men 22 and 25 years old, a wounded 71-year-old woman, as well as two girls three and five years old. The children were not harmed, they received special help.
Both women were taken to the hospital. The condition of the youngest is assessed as very serious.
According to preliminary data from the police and the prosecutor’s office, a fight motivated by jealousy took place in the apartment. A 25-year-old man entered the apartment where his ex-wife and children, his 22-year-old maid, and the woman’s 71-year-old grandmother were staying. There was a scuffle between the men, as a result of which both died, and the women were injured.
According to Polish law enforcement officials, a 25-year-old man arrived in the country before the start of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, and women with children after February 24.
All the circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated by the prosecutor’s office.
