Great Britain will act as the organizers of the Conference on the restoration of Ukraine. This follows the British-Ukrainian declaration, published by the country’s government on Wednesday, February 8.
The document states that the conference is scheduled for June this year.
“We will co-organize the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine in London on June 21-22. The UK will continue to provide Ukraine with access to British private financing, insurance, technical expertise,” the document approved following the talks between British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Volodymyr Zelensky, said.
In addition, the British side recalled that in the past 12 months, “military, humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine from the UK amounted to about 4 billion pounds.”
It will be recalled that on Wednesday, February 8, Zelensky visited the UK, where he met with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as King Charles III.
