On the morning of Wednesday, February 8, Russian troops shelled Volchansk, as well as the village of Varvarovka, Chuguevsky district, Kharkiv region. Four people were injured, including an oblenergo worker and a child. This was announced by the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
According to him, two civilians were injured in Varvarovka as a result of the shooting: a 69-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.
And in Volchansk, a 52-year-old employee of oblenergo and a 10-year-old boy were injured.
All the injured were hospitalized.
Earlier, Sinegubov spoke about the consequences of shelling in the region the previous day, on February 7. In Volchansk, as a result of the shooting, a 16-year-old girl was injured and hospitalized, a 74-year-old that woman died.
