British fashion photographer and journalist Hilary Alexander has died at the age of 77. The Independent reported it.
It is known that his career as a journalist began at the age of 16 as a reporter for publications in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. In 1985, he became fashion editor of the British daily newspaper The Daily Telegraph, and in 2003 he became head of the fashion section. He left the publication in 2011.
In recent years, she continues to work as a stylist and TV presenter, as well as the editor-in-chief of Hello! Fashion Monthly. In 2013, Hilary Alexander was awarded an OBE for her services to fashion journalism and in 2019 became Honorary President of the Graduate Fashion Foundation.
He was close to Gianni Versace, Alexander McQueen, Julien MacDonald and Richard Quinn.
