Cooperation between Ukroboronprom and VOP CZ will consist of production, repair and joint development of armored vehicles.
The state concern Ukroboronprom has agreed to cooperate with the Czech manufacturer of armored vehicles VOP CZ. This was announced by the press service of the concern on Wednesday, February 8.
The cooperation between the two companies will consist of the production, repair and joint development of armored vehicles, as well as the creation of supply chains for parts and products.
Earlier, Ukroboronprom and the Czech Defense Ministry created a defense cluster. Arrangements in VOP CZ are part of this.
“In general, cooperation involves the production of military equipment, an increase in the production of ammunition of various calibers (both in existing facilities and in newly created facilities in safe areas), the development of service centers for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment, as well as cooperation in the field of high technologies, in particular, the creation of joint research centers,” the statement said.
It was previously reported that Ukraine will produce military equipment with at least six NATO member countries. At the same time, shells and mines have been produced using NATO technology for more than a month, Ukroboronprom said then.
