In Russia, the Central District Court of Chita imposed two fines of 35,000 rubles on local resident Ivan Losev for two interviews in which he talked about the fine he received before translating a dream about Vladimir Zelensky.
This is reported by the publication “Mediazona”.
Losev was found guilty of two cases of “discrediting” the Russian army:
- the first protocol was issued for posting on his Instagram page a BBC report about his story;
- the reason for the second protocol was a video on the YouTube channel of the Dozhd TV channel called “Fine for dreaming about Zelensky: a blogger from Chita told how he was accused of discrediting the army.”
Losev notes that these protocols were drawn up against him after denunciations.
On December 12, 2022, the court fined him 30,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the Russian army” for the translation of a dream he published on his Instagram page. According to Losev, he then dreamed the following:
Today I dreamed that I was mobilized, brought to some kind of preparatory camp, and at that moment the Armed Forces of Ukraine, led by Zelensky, burst in there, they tied everyone up, they were going to shoot, and then Zelensky walked past me and said: “Oh, I’m your stress in Insti I saw, Glory to Ukraine!”. I answer him: “Glory to the heroes!” Zelensky joyfully taps me on the shoulder and says: “Yes, let him go, shoot everyone else.” And here we are standing with him, looking at all this, and I tell him: “Can I take a selfie for Instagram with you?” Zelensky says: “You can.”
