Maxar Technologies published satellite images of the Turkish city of Islahiye on Twitter, taken on October 4, 2022, also after the February 7, 2023 earthquake.
“Our latest images of the earthquake in Turkey. Weather and cloud cover affected the reception of new images of the affected areas,” the report said.
The company’s photos show the Turkish city of Islahiye several months before and after the earthquake.
In particular, the picture shows damaged buildings and rescue operations.

As you know, on February 6, two strong earthquakes occurred in the southeast of Turkey: in the Pazardzhik region of the Kahramanmarash province – a magnitude of 7.7 and in the Elbistan region of the same province – 7.6 on the Richter scale.
Behind this disaster, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared a state of emergency for three months in 10 provinces of the country.
Later it became known that in Turkey, as a result of a series of devastating earthquakes, 4,544 people died, 26,721 were injured.
