The Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey is assessing the presence of Ukrainian citizens among the victims of the earthquake that occurred today. Several “hot lines” were opened. This was announced by the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Oleg Nikolenko.
“The Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey is cooperating with the Turkish authorities,” he said.
According to Nikolenko, two “hot lines” were opened based on the embassy to help Ukrainians in Turkey: +90 539 550 98 98 and +90 312 442 15 93.
Relatives in Ukraine can also contact the hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: +380 44 238 15 88.
It will be recalled that on the morning of February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in Turkey and Syria, as a result of which 284 people died and at least 2323 were injured.
Two international airports were suspended due to the earthquake in Turkey.
