Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the country’s people over the devastating earthquake that claimed dozens of lives.
“I express my condolences to President Erdogan, the people of Turkey and the families of the victims of the earthquake in the southeast of the country. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims. In this difficult time, we will be close to the Turkish people. We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to overcome the consequences of the disaster,” the head of state wrote on Twitter.

Remember, on Monday morning, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in the southeast of Turkey, which led to the destruction of several cities, as well as in neighboring Syria.
According to the latest data, 76 people died and 440 were injured in Turkey. In Syria, 119 people became victims of the elements, more than 330 were injured.
