The only effective way to establish peace on the territory of Ukraine is its victory. Therefore, the world must give the Ukrainians the tools they need to “finish the job.” This was stated on Sunday, February 5 in an article in the Times of Malta, citing the words of British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley.
Speaking about the war in Ukraine, the diplomat emphasized that Putin was only responding to the strength of his opponents.
“In December 2022, he rejected Volodymyr Zelensky’s 10-point peace plan. Therefore, friends of Great Britain and Ukraine are doing everything possible for Ukraine to win on the battlefield. And therefore, I am glad that Germany has joined and the United States the UK and sent tanks to the Ukrainians. The minister noted that the ambitions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are not limited to the occupation of Ukraine.
“He wants to overturn world politics and destroy the international order. And if he succeeds, he will drag us all back to the era of violence and conquest,” he said.
