He recalled that Kyiv had asked some states to be guarantees of peace in the future and added that “this is also an issue that we are specifically talking about in Ukraine.”
Scholz noted that the Russian Federation intended to quickly cover the whole of Ukraine in a very short time.
“The great victory of the army and the people of Ukraine is that they have stopped the offensive,” he said.
Recall that today Scholz has promised to allocate an additional 125 million euros to support Ukraine.
Germany will provide Ukraine with seven Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers from Bundeswehr stocks.
