The Ukrainian military went to training with SAMP-T air defense systems.
The required number of units of anti-aircraft missile forces is already on the way. The corresponding order was signed by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk. The air force reported this on February 5 in Telegram.
The commander thanked France and Italy for strengthening the air defense and missile defense of Ukraine. He noted that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will return to Ukraine with these systems after the exercises in the spring.

As you know, SAMP-T-Mamba is a medium-range ground-based anti-aircraft missile system designed to destroy ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as aircraft at a distance of up to 100 km.
Recall, French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu said on February 4 that France and Italy would supply SAMP-T-Mamba anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine in the spring of 2023. The corresponding decision was agreed with Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto.
